Qurbani Program

Sharing the Blessings of Eid with Dignity and Integrity

Raheema Foundation’s Qurbani Program is a flagship seasonal service implemented annually during Eid al-Adha to fulfil the sacred Islamic obligation of sacrifice while extending compassion to vulnerable communities. The programe is designed to ensure that every Qurbani is performed correctly, ethically, and in full accordance with Islamic principles, while transforming each donation into meaningful support for families in need.

Through careful planning, transparent management, and community partnerships, Raheema Foundation connects donors with beneficiaries in a way that honours intention (niyyah), upholds trust, and maximises impact.

How the Qurbani Programme Works

Each year, Raheema Foundation coordinates the entire Qurbani process from start to finish, ensuring accountability at every stage

Animal Selection & Procurement Healthy animals that meet Islamic requirements are carefully selected from trusted local farmers, supporting livelihoods while ensuring quality.
Islamic Slaughter Process All Qurbani sacrifices are conducted during the prescribed days of Eid al-Adha, following strict Islamic guidelines (Shariah-compliant slaughter).
Meat Processing & Distribution The meat is hygienically processed and fairly distributed to eligible beneficiaries, prioritising households with the greatest need.
By participating in Raheema Foundation’s Qurbani Program, you help fulfil a vital act of worship while sharing joy, nourishment, and hope with families in need.

Your sacrifice. Their joy. A shared blessing.
One of the core strengths of Raheema Foundation’s Qurbani Program is its ability to reach remote villages and marginalised communities that are often excluded from mainstream aid efforts. Working closely with local leaders and volunteers, the Foundation ensures that Qurbani meat reaches areas with limited infrastructure, poor road access, and high levels of poverty.

This targeted approach ensures equitable distribution and prevents duplication, allowing the blessings of Eid to reach those who would otherwise be forgotten.
The Qurbani Programme prioritises vulnerable and underserved populations, including:

Orphans and orphan-headed households

Widows and single mothers

Low-income and food-insecure families

Elderly and persons with disabilities

Remote and hard-to-reach rural communities

Many of these households rarely consume meat throughout the year. For them, Qurbani is not only a religious occasion but also a critical source of nutrition and dignity.
Raheema Foundation is committed to honesty, transparency, and accountability in all Qurbani operations. Every donation is handled with care and respect, ensuring:

Donor intentions are strictly honoured

Funds are used only for their designated purpose

Beneficiaries are properly identified

Records and reports are maintained for accountability

This commitment has built strong trust among donors locally and internationally.

Impact Beyond Eid

While the Qurbani Program is seasonal, its impact lasts beyond the days of Eid. By improving food security, strengthening community bonds, and supporting local farmers, the programme contributes to broader social and economic well-being.

For beneficiaries, Qurbani restores dignity and inclusion.
For donors, it offers peace of mind that their sacrifice has reached the right hands.
